Automatic Flash Point Determination Instrument

The flash point automatic tester uses electric heating and electric ignition devices to heat the sample at a constant rate in a closed or open cup, detecting the minimum temperature at which the vapor-air mixture ignites upon contact with an open flame. It is used for safety testing of flammable liquids such as paints and inks to ensure compliance with storage and transportation conditions.
Selection
When selecting, confirm that the sample type matches the standard methods (GB/T261/ASTM D93), considering the structural differences between closed-cup and open-cup designs. Pay attention to temperature control accuracy of ±0.5℃ and ignition repeatability, and verify explosion-proof certification and self-diagnostic functions. Ensure the sample capacity is suitable for the range of 10-150 ml, and include maintenance cycles and consumable costs in the evaluation.
