Varnish viscosity Cup

Varnish viscosity cups measure viscosity by timing the flow of fluid through a standard orifice. They are used in the coatings and inks industry for on-site rapid testing of fluidity, ensuring uniformity during application and optimal drying results.
Selection
When selecting, consider matching the cup type specifications to the viscosity range of the material being tested, ensure the stainless steel material is resistant to solvent corrosion, and choose an aperture size corresponding to a flow time within the range of 30–100 seconds. Additionally, include a thermometer to correct for the influence of ambient temperature differences.
