Coating Sag Tester

The sag resistance tester evaluates the anti-sagging performance of coatings by vertically placing coated panels and observing the streaks or dripping marks formed under the influence of gravity. It is used for controlling coating application thickness and adjusting formulations to prevent surface unevenness or defects caused by excessive coating thickness.
Selection
When selecting, consider the compatibility between the type of coating to be tested and the instrument's measurement range. The specifications of the sag comb should cover common application thicknesses. The instrument material must be resistant to solvent corrosion, and the calibration markings should be clear. Ease of operation affects testing efficiency, while environmental adaptability ensures data stability.
