Contact-Type Temperature Sensor

Contact thermometers measure temperature by directly contacting the object with a probe, utilizing the thermoelectric effect or changes in resistance to sense temperature and converting the signal into a readable value. They are used for measuring the surface temperatures of solids and liquids and are commonly applied in industrial equipment monitoring and material processing.
Selection
Select the probe type based on the material being measured: use thermocouples for metal surfaces and infrared-compatible types for plastics. Consider the temperature range, typically selecting -50 to 400℃ for standard applications, while high-temperature environments require special models. Pay attention to the response time: choose fast-response probes for thin materials and standard types for thick materials. Opt for waterproof packaging in environments with high humidity.
