Phase Microscopy System

Phase contrast microscopy utilizes the phase differences generated when light passes through transparent samples, converting phase changes into brightness contrast through special annular diaphragms and phase plates. This makes transparent specimens, such as unstained living cells, visible. It is used to observe biological cells, fiber structures, and other samples that do not require staining.
Selection
Select the corresponding phase plate type based on the sample thickness: use a positive phase plate for thin samples and a negative phase plate for thick samples. Consider the objective lens magnification and working distance to match the sample size, and ensure the eyepiece magnification meets observation requirements. Check whether the condenser numerical aperture supports high-resolution imaging and ensure the uniformity of the illumination system.
