Haze Measurement System

The haze meter measures the ratio of the scattered luminous flux deviating more than 2.5° from the incident direction to the total transmitted luminous flux by illuminating transparent materials with a light source. It is used to quantify the haze index of materials and is suitable for detecting the turbidity of transparent and translucent materials such as plastic films and glass.
Selection
When selecting a haze meter, ensure that the measurement standards comply with ASTM D1003 or ISO 14782, verify that the instrument's range covers the 0-100% haze range, check that the repeatability error is less than 0.1%, validate the traceability certificate of the calibration plate, consider whether the sample holder is compatible with materials of different thicknesses, and confirm that the operation interface supports direct data export.
