ASTM Standard Viscosity Cup

ASTM standard viscosity cups calculate viscosity by measuring the time it takes for a fluid to completely flow out of a small hole at the bottom of the cup. They are used for the rapid detection of the viscosity of liquids such as coatings and inks, in compliance with the ASTM D4212 standard.
Selection
When selecting, consider the viscosity range of the fluid to be measured. Common models include Ford cups No. 2 to No. 6. Choose the cup orifice size based on the material characteristics, and regularly calibrate orifice wear for copper cup bodies.
