Salt Concentration RefractoMeter

The salinity refractometer measures salt concentration by detecting changes in the refractive index of light in a liquid. It uses a prism and an eyepiece to observe the scale value corresponding to the boundary between light and dark, directly displaying the salinity percentage. It is used for seawater aquaculture, aquarium management, and saltwater concentration detection in food processing.
Selection
When selecting, consider the measurement range and accuracy. A common range of 0-28% meets general needs. Pay attention to the temperature compensation function, which maintains stable readings when ambient temperature changes. Check the calibration method; some models require zero adjustment using distilled water. Portable models are suitable for field use, while benchtop models are ideal for fixed laboratory settings.
