Color paint Applicator

The paint applicator creates a uniform wet film on the substrate by scraping through a calibrated metal groove, used to control coating thickness. It is employed in paint testing to prepare standard paint film samples for tests such as drying time and hiding power.
Selection
When selecting, consider that the Coater material must be corrosion-resistant, the measurement range should cover the thickness of the paint film to be tested, and the groove accuracy should meet standard requirements. The flatness of the substrate affects the scraping effect, and it should be cleaned promptly after use to avoid residue curing.
