Measuring Metal Hardness Tester

A metal hardness tester applies pressure to the surface of a metal using an indenter to create an indentation, and then measures the size or depth of the indentation to convert it into a hardness value. It is used to test the material's resistance to plastic deformation and is commonly applied in metal processing, heat treatment quality control, and part acceptance.
Selection
When selecting, consider the type and hardness range of the material being tested, the thickness and dimensions of the sample, testing accuracy requirements, working environmental conditions, compatibility between the indenter and scale, equipment portability and ease of operation, and the validity of the calibration certificate.
