Handheld Roughness Tester

The surface roughness tester moves across the surface via a probe, records the profile fluctuation data, and calculates parameters such as Ra and Rz. It is used to evaluate the flatness of material surfaces and determine whether products meet process requirements in metal processing and injection molding part inspections.
Selection
When selecting, consider whether the measurement range covers the roughness of the sample. The probe material must be suitable for the hardness of the surface being measured. Portable devices are suitable for on-site inspection, while fixed devices are suitable for laboratories. Pay attention to the calibration cycle of the instrument and its compliance with standards, and ensure that the interface functions match the data recording requirements.
