Film Dyne Test Pen

Dyne pens determine whether the surface tension of a material is higher than that of the test liquid by applying a test solution with a known surface tension through the pen tip and observing whether the liquid film contracts or spreads on the material's surface. They are used for quickly evaluating the effectiveness of surface treatments and the adhesion of printing on materials such as plastics and metals.
Selection
Select the corresponding test range pen series based on the type of material to be tested, typically ranging from 38 to 44 mN/m. The actual surface tension of the material is determined by the highest value at which the liquid film remains intact for 2 seconds without rupturing. New pens should be validated on known materials to avoid inaccuracies caused by pen tip contamination or solvent evaporation.
