Schopper-Riegler Standard Freeness Tester

The Schopper-Riegler freeness tester evaluates the degree of fiber beating by measuring the drainage rate of pulp suspension through a standard screen. After the pulp slurry is poured into a cylinder with a screen, the time for a specific volume of water to drain is recorded; a longer time indicates a higher degree of beating. It is used in the papermaking industry to control the drainage performance of pulp and the strength of the resulting paper.
Selection
When selecting, consider that the detection range should cover common pulp freeness intervals, the instrument structure should facilitate cleaning and maintenance, and it should be equipped with standard sieve screens and calibration tools to ensure data consistency. Choose an appropriate size based on the laboratory space, and ensure the operational procedures align with daily testing frequency.
