Thickness Probe

The thickness gauge measures material thickness by emitting and receiving ultrasonic waves. Ultrasonic waves propagate and reflect within the material, and the instrument calculates the round-trip time of the sound waves, combining it with the material's sound velocity to determine the thickness value. It is used to measure the thickness of materials such as metals and plastics, and to inspect corrosion and wear in manufacturing and maintenance applications.
