Stylus-Based Surface Roughness Tester

The stylus roughness tester moves a diamond stylus across the material surface, converting the profile fluctuations into electrical signals, which are then processed to calculate roughness values. It is used to measure surface textures such as paper coatings and plastic films, and to assess ink adhesion effects in printability testing.
Selection
