Canadian Standard Freeness Measurement Device

The Canadian Standard Freeness Tester evaluates fiber drainage performance by measuring the drainage rate of a pulp suspension through a standard screen. The principle is based on the correlation between the time it takes for water to pass through the fiber layer under gravity and the fiber morphology and fine content. It is used in the paper industry for pulp quality control, refining degree monitoring, and wet-end chemistry adjustments.
