Laser Roughness Tester

The laser roughness detector scans the surface of an object using a laser beam and calculates surface undulation data based on the deformation of the reflected light spot. It is used to quantitatively assess the surface smoothness of materials such as paper coatings and plastic films, providing a quantitative basis for printability testing and coating quality control.
Selection
When selecting, focus on ensuring that the measurement range covers the roughness interval of the sample, consider matching the material's reflection characteristics with the laser wavelength, account for the impact of environmental vibrations on accuracy, ensure the instrument probe size is suitable for the shape of the workpiece being measured, and verify that the data interface is compatible with the existing analysis system.
