Tension Pen

The tension pen determines wettability by measuring the surface tension value of the liquid. The pen tip contains test ink. When drawing a line on the material surface, if the line remains intact, it indicates that the tension meets the required standard; if it contracts, the tension is insufficient. It is used for rapid inspection of surface treatment effects on plastics, metals, and glass.
Selection
When selecting, consider the material type to match the ink coefficient. Use 38 mN/m for conventional plastics, and choose a higher coefficient for high surface energy materials. The nib material should be wear-resistant, with a sealed design to prevent ink evaporation. The operating environment temperature should ideally be between 10-40℃, and avoid direct exposure to strong light.
