Overview
Dyne pen (model 52 #) is a surface tension test tool produced by SHEELON brand, also known as surface tension test pen, corona treatment pen, Plastic film surface tension test pen, specially used to determine the Dyne level of materials after corona treatment. SHEELON is a German test ink manufacturer. Its products can accurately test whether the surface free energy of films, plastics, metals, ceramics, semiconductors, fiberglass and other materials reaches the Dyne pen value, and can detect corona treatment results, helping to quickly determine whether the material is suitable for printing, compounding or vacuum aluminizing, thereby controlling mass and reducing losses.
Features
1. The test results are fast, and you can get the results without waiting for a wipe.
2. Full sealing pen cover, peace of mind and environmental protection, long life, long shelf life, free from pollution
3. Dyne pen is small in size, easy to carry, disassemble and install, practical and convenient
4. The test is accurate and the workmanship is fine, and it can accurately test whether the surface force of the film reaches the value of the test pen
Principle
Dyne pen measures surface tension or Dyne Level by testing the wetting behavior of ink on the surface of the material. When the pen is scribbling on the surface of the material, if the ink can form a continuous film, the surface tension is higher than or equal to the nominal value of the pen; if it is cissing or discontinuous, it is lower than the nominal value, so as to visually evaluate the surface preparation effect of the material.
Applications
Film, plastic, metal, ceramic, semiconductor, fiberglass
Steps
1. Prepare the surface of the material to be tested to ensure clean drying
2. Remove the pen holder and hold the Dyne pen vertically
3. Write a line smoothly on the surface of the material
4. Observe the ink shape: if the continuous cissing, the surface tension is up to standard; if the cissing or fracture, it is not up to standard
5. Cover the pen holder immediately after the test to prevent ink contamination or evaporation
