Overview
Dyne pen (model 68 #) is a surface tension test tool produced by SHEELON brand, specially used to determine the Dyne Level of materials after corona treatment. The product can quickly and intuitively detect whether the surface free energy of films, plastics, metals, ceramics, semiconductors, fiberglass and other materials reaches the specified value, effectively control the mass and reduce the loss caused by the material failure.
Features
1. The test results are fast, no need to wait, and the results can be obtained with a wipe
2. Full sealing pen cover design, peace of mind and environmental protection, long life, long shelf life, free from pollution
3. Small size, easy to carry, simple disassembly and installation, practical and convenient
4. Accurate test, fine workmanship, can accurately test whether the surface force of the film reaches the test pen value
Principle
Dyne pen measures the surface tension value by testing the wetting behavior of the ink on the surface of the material. When the test ink forms a continuous liquid film on the surface of the material, it indicates that the surface tension of the material meets or exceeds the Dyne pen label value; if the ink cissing into droplets, the surface tension is lower than the label value.
Applications
Film, plastic, metal, ceramics, semiconductors, fiberglass and other materials surface tension detection, corona treatment effect verification, printing adaptability testing, composite process quality control, vacuum aluminizing pretreatment testing
Steps
1. Make sure the test surface is clean and drying
2. Remove the cap and hold the Dyne pen vertically
3. Smooth draw an ink line about 7mm wide on the test surface
4. Observe the shape change of the ink line within 2 seconds
5. Determine whether the surface tension is up to standard according to whether the ink line is continuous
6. Cover the cap immediately after the test is completed
Notice
• Please confirm that the test surface is clean and free of contamination before use
• Cover the cap immediately after the test to prevent ink evaporation
• Avoid severe impact or high temperature environment
• Different Color Materials Can Choose Corresponding Color Dyne Liquid for Clearer Test Results
• Keep the pen body vertical during the test to ensure that the width of the ink line is uniform
