Overview
Dyne pen is a SHEELON brand surface tension test tool, model 56 #, specially used to determine the Dyne Level of materials after corona treatment. It can accurately test the surface free energy of films, plastics, metals, ceramics, semiconductors, fiberglass and other materials, quickly detect whether the material is suitable for printing, compounding or vacuum aluminizing, effectively control the mass and reduce losses.
Features
1. The test results are fast, no need to wait, and the results are available with a wipe
2. Full sealing pen cover design, environmental protection and safety, long life, long shelf life, not easy to be polluted
3. Small size, easy to carry, simple disassembly and installation, practical and convenient
4. Accurate test, fine workmanship, can accurately test whether the surface force reaches the value of the pen
Principle
Dyne Pen measures surface tension or Dyne Level by testing the wetting behavior of the ink on the surface of the material. When the ink forms a continuous liquid film on the surface of the material, it indicates that the surface tension reaches or exceeds the calibration value of the pen, so as to visually judge the corona treatment effect or material applicability.
Applications
Film, plastic, metal, ceramic, semiconductor, fiberglass
Steps
1. Prepare the surface of the material to be tested
2. Remove the pen cover and gently wipe the surface of the material with a Dyne pen
3. Observe whether the ink forms a continuous liquid film
4. Determine whether the surface tension is up to standard according to the results
Notice
• Make sure the surface of the material is clean and drying before use
• Cover the pen holder tightly in time after the test to prevent ink contamination or volatilization
• Avoid long-term storage in high temperature or humid environment
• Color-appropriate Dyne pen or dyne solution to enhance test visibility
