Overview
Dyne pen is a SHEELON brand surface tension test tool, model 64 #, specially used to determine the Dyne Level of materials after corona treatment. It can accurately test the surface free energy of films, plastics, metals, ceramics, semiconductors, fiberglass and other materials, quickly detect whether the material is suitable for printing, composite or vacuum aluminization, effectively control the mass and reduce losses. Products include the pink and blue Dyne pen series, as well as a variety of Color dyne solutions, covering values 22-105.
Features
1. The test results are fast, no need to wait, and the results can be obtained with a wipe
2. Full sealing pen cover, peace of mind and environmental protection, long life, long shelf life, free from pollution
3. Small size, easy to carry, disassembly and installation, practical and convenient
4. Accurate test, fine workmanship, can accurately test whether the surface force of the film reaches the test pen value
Principle
Dyne pen tests whether the surface tension reaches the set value by testing whether the ink is cissing or spreading. When the surface free energy of the material is equal to or higher than the Dyne pen value, the ink will spread; otherwise, it will cissing to visually detect the corona treatment effect and material suitability.
Applications
Film, plastic, metal, ceramic, semiconductor, fiberglass
Steps
1. Clean the surface of the material to be tested
2. Remove the pen cover and touch the Dyne pen tip on the surface of the material
3. Observe the ink behavior: if spreading, the surface tension is up to standard, if cissing is not up to standard
4. Cover the pen holder immediately after use to prevent contamination
Notice
• Make sure the surface of the material is clean and drying before use
• Cover the pen holder tightly in time after the test to avoid ink evaporation or contamination
• Color of Dyne pen or dyne solution to enhance visibility
• Avoid use in extreme temperatures or Humidity environments to avoid affecting accuracy
• Regularly check the sealing of the pen cover to ensure the life of the product
