Overview
Dyne pen (model 42 #) is a surface tension test tool produced by SHEELON brand, also known as surface tension test pen, corona treatment pen, Plastic film surface tension test pen, specially used to determine the Dyne Level of materials after corona treatment. It can accurately test whether the surface free energy of thin films, plastics, metals, ceramics, semiconductors, fiberglass and other materials reaches the value of the pen, and can quickly and intuitively detect whether the material is suitable for printing, compounding or vacuum aluminizing processes, effectively control the mass and reduce the loss caused by unqualified materials.
Features
1. The test results are fast, no need to wait, and the results can be obtained with a wipe
2. Full sealing pen cover, peace of mind and environmental protection, long life, long shelf life, free from pollution
3. Small size, easy to carry, disassembly and installation, practical and convenient
4. Accurate test, fine workmanship, can accurately test whether the surface force of the film reaches the test pen value
Principle
Dyne pen test ink on the surface of the material by applying the nib, and judge whether the surface tension of the material reaches the nominal Dyne Level of the pen according to whether the ink is cissing or spreading, so as to detect the surface free energy of the material and the corona treatment effect.
Applications
Film, plastic, metal, ceramic, semiconductor, fiberglass and other materials surface tension detection, corona treatment effect verification
Steps
1. Clean the surface of the material to be tested
2. Remove the pen cover and apply the test ink to the surface of the material with the nib
3. Observe the behavior of the ink within 2 seconds: if the ink cissing into water droplets, the surface tension is lower than the pen value; if the ink remains spread, the surface tension reaches or exceeds the pen value
4. Cover the pen holder tightly immediately after the test to prevent ink evaporation
