Overview
Dyne pen is a surface tension test tool specially used to determine the Dyne Level of materials after corona treatment. SHEELON is a German test ink manufacturer. It produces Dyne pens that can accurately test the surface free energy of films, plastics, metals, ceramics, semiconductors, fiberglass, etc., which can detect corona treatment results. Quickly and intuitively determine whether the material is suitable for printing, composite or vacuum aluminization, and effectively control the mass. Products include Dyne pen and dyne liquid series. Dyne pen is divided into pink and blue. There are two kinds of Encasement for pink. Dyne liquid is available in three Colors, covering values 22-105.

Principle
Dyne Pen measures surface tension or Dyne Level by testing the wetting behavior of the ink on the surface of the material. When the ink forms a continuous liquid film on the surface, it indicates that the surface tension reaches or exceeds the nominal value of the pen, so as to intuitively judge the material treatment effect.

Steps
1. Touch the Dyne pen tip on the surface of the material
2. Quick wipe or scribe
3. Observe whether the ink forms a continuous liquid film to determine whether the surface tension is up to standard
Notice
• Make sure the surface of the material is clean and drying before use
• Avoid nib contamination and cover the pen cover tightly after use
• Choose the appropriate Dyne pen or dyne liquid according to the material Color
• Avoid damage to the nib with excessive force during testing
