Overview
Dyne pen is a SHEELON brand surface tension test tool, model 58 #, specially used to determine the Dyne Level of materials after corona treatment. It can accurately test the surface free energy of films, plastics, metals, ceramics, semiconductors, fiberglass and other materials, quickly and intuitively detect whether the material is suitable for printing, composite or vacuum aluminization, and effectively control the mass. Products include Dyne pen and dyne liquid series. Dyne pen is available in pink and blue, pink is available in color and green Encasement. Dyne liquid is available in three Color options, covering values 22-105.
Features
1. The test results are fast, no need to wait, and the results can be obtained with a wipe
2. Full sealing pen cover, peace of mind and environmental protection, long life, long shelf life, free from pollution
3. Small size, easy to carry, disassembly and installation, practical and convenient
4. Accurate test, fine workmanship, can accurately test whether the surface force of the film reaches the test pen value
Principle
Dyne pen measures surface tension or Dyne Level by testing the wetting behavior of ink on the surface of a material. When the ink forms a continuous film on the surface of the material, the surface tension meets or exceeds the nominal value of the pen; if the ink is cissing or discontinuous, the surface tension is insufficient. This is used to detect corona treatment effect and material suitability.
Applications
Film, plastic, metal, ceramic, semiconductor, fiberglass
Steps
1. Clean the surface of the material to be tested
2. Use a Dyne pen to scribble lightly on the surface
3. Observe whether the ink forms a continuous film
4. Determine whether the surface tension is up to standard according to the ink behavior
Notice
• Make sure the surface of the material is clean and drying before use
• Avoid contaminating the pen tip to maintain test accuracy
• Cover the pen holder tightly in time after the test to prevent ink evaporation
• Choose the right pen or liquid Color according to the material Color to enhance visibility
