Overview
Dyne pen is a SHEELON brand surface tension test tool, model 38 #, which is specially used to determine the Dyne Level of materials after corona treatment. It can accurately test the surface free energy of films, plastics, metals, ceramics, semiconductors, fiberglass and other materials, quickly and intuitively detect whether the material is suitable for printing, compounding or vacuum aluminization processes, effectively control mass and reduce losses. The current products include Dyne pen and dyne liquid two series. Dyne pen is available in pink and blue, pink is available in color and green Encasement. Dyne liquid provides three Colors to adapt to different material testing needs, covering values 22-105.
Features
1. The test results are fast, no need to wait, and the results can be obtained with a wipe
2. Full sealing pen cover, peace of mind and environmental protection, long life, long shelf life, free from pollution
3. Small size, easy to carry, disassembly and installation, practical and convenient
4. The test is accurate and the workmanship is fine, and it can accurately test whether the surface force of the film reaches the test pen value
Principle
Dyne pen tests whether the ink is in contact with the surface of the material and determines the surface tension value according to whether the ink is cissing or spreading. If the ink remains intact on the surface of the material, it indicates that the surface tension meets or exceeds the Dyne pen marked value; otherwise, it does not meet the standard, so as to quickly evaluate the surface preparation effect of the material.
Applications
Film, plastic, metal, ceramic, semiconductor, fiberglass
Steps
1. Clean the surface of the material to be tested to ensure that there is no dust or oil stains
2. Remove the pen cover and gently touch the Dyne pen tip to the surface of the material
3. Apply the test ink evenly and observe the ink behavior
4. Determine whether the surface tension is up to standard according to whether the ink is cissing
5. Cover the pen holder tightly immediately after use to prevent ink evaporation or contamination
Notice
• Make sure the surface of the material is clean and drying before use
• Avoid excessive force during testing to avoid damaging the pen tip
• Cover the pen holder tightly in time after use to prevent ink evaporation
Store in a cool drying place away from heat and direct sunlight
• Color of Dyne pen or dyne solution to enhance visibility
