Multi-layer Film Thickness Analyzer

The film thickness gauge measures coating thickness through magnetic induction, eddy current, or ultrasonic principles. The magnetic induction method is used for non-magnetic coatings on steel substrates, the eddy current method measures insulating layers on non-ferrous metal substrates, and ultrasonic waves penetrate multi-layer materials. It is used to detect the thickness uniformity of paints, electroplating, and plastic films.
Selection
When selecting, confirm the substrate properties and coating type. Use magnetic induction for ferrous substrates and eddy current for non-ferrous substrates. Consider the measurement range: choose 0-200μm for thin coatings and 0-2000μm for thick coatings. Select the probe based on the shape: use a standard probe for flat surfaces and a small-diameter probe for curved surfaces. For environmental requirements, use the basic model for ordinary workshops and the waterproof type for humid environments.
