Film corona pen

The film corona pen generates corona discharge at the tip through a built-in high-voltage generator, polarizing the surface molecules of the film to form polar groups. It is used for rapid detection of the surface tension of plastic and metal films, determining the suitability of materials for printing and coating. During operation, the tip lightly touches the film, and the uniform spreading of ink is observed to evaluate the treatment effectiveness.
Selection
When selecting, ensure the measurement range covers common materials from 38 to 72 mN/m. Choose a tungsten steel tip for durability and opt for built-in battery power to ensure portability. It should come with ink sets of different tension values, and the impact of environmental temperature and humidity on measurements should be considered. Prioritize products that include a calibration certificate.
